Delta announces resumption of flights to Brazil
With the spread of the pandemic, many airlines have suspended their passenger operations to Brazil. In March, Delta announced the suspension of the following flights indefinitely: Atlanta – Rio de Janeiro (ATL-GIG), Atlanta – Sao Paulo (ATL-GRU) and New York – Sao Paulo (JFK-GRU). With the gradual opening of borders, the American company already has a date to resume these three routes. From August 1 on, Delta will resume operations between ATL and GIG with a daily flight operated by the Boeing 767-300ER. The flights between ATL and GRU return from August 3 on, initially four times a week with the Boeing 767-400ER, starting to operate daily on the route from October 2 on. The calls between JFK and GRU return from the 2nd of September on with three weekly flights, changing to daily from the 1st of October on. The Boeing 767-400ER will be responsible for connecting the two cities. – https://contatoradar.com.br/2020/07/delta-anuncia-retomada-de-voos-ao-brasil/
