United launches on-demand virtual service at airports

United Airlines passengers will soon have access to virtual on-demand service at the airline’s hubs, offering people a quick, contactless option for real-time information and support. Customers can access “Agent on Demand” on any mobile device to place calls, text messages, or live video calls with an agent, and get answers from seat assignments to boarding times. The tool is currently available at the international airports of Chicago/O’Hare and Houston/George Bush, and will be deployed at United hubs by the end of the year. “We know how important it is for our customers to have more options for a contactless travel experience, and this tool makes it easy to quickly receive personalized support directly from a live agent at the airport, while maintaining social distance.” Agent on Demand “allows customers ignore waiting in line at the gate, and connect seamlessly with customer service agents from their mobile devices, ensuring they continue to receive the highest levels of service, while prioritizing their health and safety”, said United VP of technology Linda Jojo. – https://www.panrotas.com.br/aviacao/empresas/2020/12/united-lanca-atendimento-virtual-sob-demanda-em-aeroportos_178469.html
