Abear criticizes aircraft lease tax increase

Abear – the Brazilian Association of Airlines – states that the gradual rate of 1.5% withholding income tax (IRRF in Brazil) on aircraft and engine leasing goes against the initiatives to stimulate the development of Brazilian commercial aviation, and estimates an impact of BRL 79 million in 2020 for the Brazilian airline industry.
