Delta adjusts operations in Brazil

With the pandemic, the planning of airlines started to be carried out in the short term, adjusting to the demand of each route. Accordingly, Delta Airlines has readjusted its schedule on flights to/from Brazil for the coming months. The changes made by the company refer to the routes between Atlanta (ATL) and two single bases in Brazil: Sao Paulo (GRU) and Rio de Janeiro (GIG). In addition, the route between New York (JFK) and the capital of Sao Paulo has also undergone changes. According to what was established on 08/24, Delta will resume flights between the United States and Rio only on 12/19. The flight to Atlanta (ATL) will be daily and operated by the Boeing 767-300ER as of this date. In addition, the flight between Atlanta (ATL) and Sao Paulo (GRU) will gain one more frequency as of 10/24, operating five times a week with the Airbus A330-300. This same flight is scheduled to operate daily from March 2021, if the company keeps the schedule. Finally, the flight to New York (JFK) is expected to return to 10/25, with four weekly flights of Boeing 767-400ER. The flight to the Big Apple should gain more frequencies and become a daily flight also from March 2021. – https://contatoradar.com.br/2020/08/delta-ajusta-operacoes-no-brasil/
