The Brazilian Government starts Congonhas and Santos Dumont concession process

The Ministry of Infrastructure kicked off the concession process for Congonhas (SP) and Santos Dumont (RJ) airports. The two terminals are considered the last “crown jewels” in the network still operated by the state-owned Infraero. On 10/08, the ministry issued a public call for feasibility studies to subsidize the modeling of concessions for 17 airports, including Congonhas and Santos Dumont. The auction is scheduled for 2022. It will be the 7th round of concessions in the sector. According to the preliminary design of the government, the terminals will be divided into three different blocks. – https://valor.globo.com/brasil/noticia/2020/10/08/governo-inicia-processo-de-concessao-de-congonhas-e-santos-dumont.ghtml
