Brazil’s northeast area is featured in Gol’s route network for high summer season

With all the bases in which it operates in Brazil reopened, Gol Linhas Aereas announced its network for the high summer season, and will have more flights in the months of December and January, recomposing, according to the company, 75% of its seat offer versus the same period last year. The airports of Sao Paulo (Congonhas and Guarulhos), Rio de Janeiro (Galeao and Santos Dumont), Brasilia, Fortaleza and Salvador are the company’s hubs for access to more destinations around the country. NORTHEAST – Salvador will have six new destinations: Aracaju, Curitiba, Palmas, Porto Alegre (this from 17/12), Sao Luis, and Teresina. Still in Bahia, Porto Seguro will have direct flights from Brasilia, Sao Paulo/Congonhas, Belo Horizonte/Confins, and Rio de Janeiro (Galeao and Santos Dumont). Ilheus will have direct flights from Brasilia. Fortaleza has three new routes: Belo Horizonte/Confins, Goiania and Campinas (SP). Another six cities in the region will be directly connected to the Southeast by the capital of Sao Paulo at the airport of Congonhas: Aracaju, Ilheus, Jericoacoara (also with Guarulhos), Joao Pessoa, Maceio, and Natal. Campo Grande and Foz do Iguaçu close these news for the Sao Paulo airport. MIDWEST AND NORTH: Cuiaba (CGB) will have flights to Curitiba and Rio de Janeiro/Galeao. In the North region, Belem will have the return of the direct route to Maraba, Carajas and Sao Luis, during this holiday season. The capital of Para state still gains an increase in supply to Santarem, Macapa, and Fortaleza. In Manaus, customers will have increased operations to Fortaleza, Rio de Janeiro, and Santarem. Gol will have 556 flights per day in the period (increase of 50% of flights and 54% of seats available compared to 11/2020), for 62 destinations (58 of its own and 4 through regional partners), with 30 new routes versus the previous month. With the reopening of the Jericoacoara (2/12), Caldas Novas and Cabo Frio (12/27) bases, all starting from the city of Sao Paulo, all destinations where the company operates in the country will be in operation.
