Azul Conecta resumes flights to the coast of Rio de Janeiro

Angra dos Reis, Paraty, and Buzios are now part of the regular flight network of Azul and its sub-regional company Azul Conecta. The cities on the coast of Rio de Janeiro, which received seasonal operations during the summer, will be connected throughout the year with the airports Santos Dumont, in the capital of Rio de Janeiro, and Congonhas, in Sao Paulo, on 12 weekly flights. As of April, each airport in Rio de Janeiro will receive a daily flight, either from Rio or from the capital of Sao Paulo. The routes will be carried out with Cessna Grand Caravan aircraft, with capacity for nine passengers, and are the result of an agreement between the company and the state government of Rio. With the interleaved operation, residents, and tourists will be able to reach Paraty, Angra, and Buzios, both Santos Dumont and Congonhas, and enjoy the convenience and panoramic view of the trip, which made these routes an attraction for those who switched the bus or the car for air travel. – https://www.panrotas.com.br/aviacao/novas-rotas/2021/02/azul-conecta-retoma-voos-para-o-litoral-do-rio-de-janeiro_179653.html
