Gol becomes an exclusive partner of American Airlines in Brazil

American Airlines and Gol Linhas Aereas have expanded the level of the current codeshare agreement to an exclusivity that will last for at least three years. From now on, the Brazilian company will become American’s only codeshare partner in Brazil, and vice versa in the US. By combining their networks, passengers will be able to travel to more than 30 destinations served in the US, and more than 20 new destinations in South America. In 2022, American Airlines will complete 80 years of operations in Latin America. In Brazil, it has bases at the airports of Guarulhos (GRU), in Sao Paulo, and Galeao (GIG), in Rio de Janeiro.
