Since 2008, RASG-PA integrates regional efforts to establish cooperative activities that reduce burdens and enable the delivery of services and measurable improvements in the area of operational security in the region. The event, which has Atech, Embraer, Frequentis, IACIT, Saipher and SITA as supporters, was opened by the Regional Director of the ICAO Office in South America (SAM), Fábio Rabbani, who thanked everyone for their presence and highlighted the importance of being able to meet face-to-face for the first time since the pandemic, which canceled so many air operations in the last two years. The FAA representative, Gerardo Hueto, once again highlighted the importance of measuring Operational Safety activities, monitoring indicators and sharing knowledge. “More than using data, we work with information”, he commented.
