Brazil has four of the ten best airports in the world in 2022, according to the AirHelp Score international ranking

Brazil has four of the ten best airports in the world. This is what the international AirHelp Score 2022 ranking, released on 12/12, points out. This list includes Gilberto Freyre International Airport, in Recife/Guararapes, PE, in second position, behind only Tokyo International Airport. Viracopos International Airport, in Campinas, SP, appears in fourth place. Tancredo Neves airport, in Belo Horizonte, MG, and Congonhas, in Sao Paulo, SP, were listed in sixth and seventh place, respectively. In the last survey, carried out in 2019, only Afonso Pena, PR, and Viracopos, SP airports entered the top 10. In this edition, 151 airports were evaluated, with around 10,000 user reviews from 30 countries. The survey, carried out from January to October of this year, was structured around three central themes: punctuality, customer opinion regarding the services offered (airport staff, waiting time, accessibility, and cleanliness), and stores and restaurants. “Brazil was featured in the ranking as the country with the highest number of airports among the top 10 in the world. Punctuality was the most highly rated index by users, with all airports scoring above eight. In second place, the quality of services, and lastly, the quality of retail, which considers the options of stores and restaurants”, analyzes Luciano Barreto, general director of AirHelp in Brazil. Published since 2015, the AirHelp Score is the most comprehensive and accurate assessment of airlines and airports to help passengers better plan their flights.
