Aviation in Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC) met from October 22nd to October 24th in the main event of sector leaders in the region, the “ALTA AGM & AIRLINES LEADERS FORUM”. Around 400 aviation industry leaders, including 40 airline CEOs, were in attendance. With Aeromexico as the host airline and, this year, taking place in Cancun, Mexico, the Annual General Meeting (AGM) and the Airline Leaders Forum are promoted annually by the Latin American and Caribbean Association of Air Transport (ALTA). The conference provides the stage for airline CEOs, airports, suppliers, government representatives, media outlets, and high-profile speakers to come together and discuss how to address current industry challenges and prepare for the future of air transportation. The forum is designed to stimulate high-level international dialogue, which translates into tangible actions to achieve safer, more efficient, and sustainable aviation. “The ALTA AGM & Airline Leaders Forum is an event of strategic and consolidated importance for aviation in the region. It is an opportunity for industry leaders to come together and set the course for the future of the sector. Collaborative work is a maxim to ensure that the region continues to advance in terms of more efficient regulations that generate direct benefits for users and the population through the generation of millions of jobs and opportunities, for the environment, technological advancement, and many others important topics”, says Jose Ricardo Botelho, executive director and CEO of ALTA. – https://aeroin.net/comeca-neste-domingo-em-cancun-o-grande-evento-de-lideres-da-aviacao-latino-americana-e-do-caribe/
