AeroMexico receives recognition as the most punctual airline in the world in 2024

In Mexico City, on February 11, AeroMexico received an important award that recognizes it as the most punctual airline in the world in 2024. During a press conference held in the company’s main hangar, Andres Conesa, CEO, received the award from Jeremy Bowen, CEO of Cirium, an aeronautical analysis consultancy. This recognition marks a great achievement in the history of the company and the country, making AeroMexico the first and only airline in Mexico to achieve this position. During 2024, the company carried out almost 197 thousand flights, completing 99.32% of its scheduled operations, with 87.73% of departures occurring on schedule and 86.7% of arrivals being completed as planned. The results achieved were even more significant, given that 2024 was a record year for AeroMexico: the company’s fleet exceeded 150 aircraft, more than 120 routes were served and more than 25.3 million passengers were transported, the highest number in the company’s history. In January 2025, AeroMexico maintained the first position in punctuality in Cirium’s monthly ranking, serving more than 15,800 flights and achieving 90.46% of on-time departures and 89.20% of scheduled arrivals, having completed 99.89% of its scheduled flights.
