Amazon signs partnership with LATAM to speed up deliveries in the North and Northeast of Brazil

Amazon Brazil announced a new partnership with LATAM Cargo Brasil to speed up the delivery of products in 11 states in the North, Northeast, and Central-West regions. With the agreement, the shipping time for packages purchased on Amazon Brazil will be reduced to up to two days, reinforcing the company’s commitment to improving logistics in the country. The packages will be transported from Guarulhos Airport, LATAM’s main hub in Brazil, both in the lower compartment of LATAM Airlines Brasil passenger aircraft and on LATAM Cargo planes. The destinations covered include Fortaleza, Aracaju, Joao Pessoa, Natal, Maceio, Recife, Salvador, Manaus, Palmas, Belem, and Cuiaba. The initiative is part of Amazon’s expansion plan for 2025, which includes expanding logistics capacity and new strategic partnerships. “Our plan for 2025 covers several of the company’s business units and represents a significant increase in our service capacity in strategic locations. This includes the opening of new logistics hubs and the expansion of our transport capabilities, strengthened by airline partnerships. We achieve this through a vision of long-term growth, working with excellent local partners and experts, such as LATAM”, highlighted Alex Cristiano de Paula, head of Air Transport at Amazon in Brazil. LATAM Cargo also highlighted the importance of collaboration to optimize logistics in the country. “At LATAM Cargo, we are attentive to the changes and demands of the market, which is increasingly seeking agile and safe service in a continental country like Brazil. Being part of the e-commerce chain shows our commitment and ability to democratize fast logistics throughout the country, shortening time and distances”, said Otavio Meneguette, director of LATAM Cargo Brasil.  https://aeroin.net/amazon-fecha-parceria-com-a-latam-para-acelerar-entregas-no-norte-e-nordeste-do-brasil/
