Emissions from ground handling vehicles at Guarulhos Airport will be measured by Fetcesp’s environmental program

The Brazilian Association of Auxiliary Air Transport Service Companies (Abesata) reports that it has entered into a partnership with the Federation of Cargo Transport Companies of the State of Sao Paulo (Fetcesp) to assess the amount of pollutants emitted by trucks, buses, tractors, and other equipment of ground handling companies at Sao Paulo International Airport in Guarulhos, also known as GRU Airport. The initiative is part of Despoluir – the Environmental Transport Program, created by Fetcesp. The first visit to the airport took place on May 27 in order to verify the compatibility of the software with the equipment used by the companies. The association invited the ground handling companies Proair, WFS-Orbital, dnata, Swissport, Universal Aviation, and Tristar, which operate at the airport, to participate in the project, at no cost to them. The results of the collections, however, will be confidential, sent individually to each company and monitored by Fetcesp. – https://aeroin.net/emissoes-dos-veiculos-de-servico-de-solo-no-aeroporto-de-guarulhos-serao-medidas-por-programa-ambiental-da-fetcesp/
