Embraer held a ceremony to mark the beginning of construction of its new Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) unit dedicated to commercial jets at Perot Field Alliance Airport, in Fort Worth, Texas, United States. The event brought together local authorities, Embraer executives, and representatives from partner organizations. With high-standard facilities, the new hangar is scheduled to open in 2027. Embraer’s capacity to serve E-Jets customers in the United States will grow 53% after the expansion is completed. The investment – estimated at up to USD70 million – has the potential to generate approximately 250 new high-skill aviation jobs in Texas. In partnership with the city of Fort Worth, the county of Denton and the state of Texas, Embraer already began operations at Alliance Airport in June, in an existing hangar. – https://www.aeroflap.com.br/embraer-celebra-o-inicio-da-construcao-de-sua-nova-unidade-de-manutencao-em-fort-worth/
