With the reopening of the US, Delta’s international flight sales soar

Delta Air Lines saw ticket sales on its international flights soar. In the six weeks after the announcement of the US reopening to fully vaccinated tourists, there was a 450% increase in international point-of-sale bookings compared to the six weeks before the White House decision. The company expects many international flights to operate at 100% capacity on 11/08, the first day of the measure. In the following days, the volume of passengers should remain high. The first one will be the DL106, from Sao Paulo (GRU) to Atlanta (ATL). “While we’ve seen many countries reopen their borders to US visitors over the summer, our international customers haven’t been able to fly with us or visit the US. All that changes now”, said Delta CEO Ed Bastian. – https://aeromagazine.uol.com.br/artigo/com-reabertura-dos-eua-vendas-de-voos-internacionais-da-delta-disparam_7289.html
