Guarulhos airport had in October a movement of 3.07 million passengers

GRU Airport, the concessionaire that manages Sao Paulo International Airport, in Guarulhos, informed on November 23, the data for the month of October. The largest airport in South America recorded the movement of 3.07 million passengers throughout the month of October. The airport also handled 2.05 million passengers from domestic flights. International traffic was responsible for 33.2% of the total volume of passengers transported in October, registering 99.2 thousand travelers per day. In all, there were 21,527 landings and takeoffs in the period. Currently, the airport has 34 national and international companies operating regularly to 45 destinations outside the country. Also in October, the Cargo Terminal (Teca) at Sao Paulo International Airport registered the transport of around 25.7 thousand tons of products referring to international cargo, between import and export. Packages moved by the post office are not included, nor domestic cargo. Among the most transported products in the period are items from the automotive, pharmaceutical, and machinery segments.
