ANAC holds a Public Consultation to change regulations on possession of the Air Operator Certificate
Brazil’s Civil Aviation Agency (ANAC, in Portuguese) placed in Public Consultation the revision of the Brazilian Civil Aviation Regulation (RBAC, also in Portuguese) #119, entitled “Certification: public air transport operators” and RBAC #01, entitled “Definitions, rules of wording and measurement units for use in the ANAC regulations”. The changes were proposed after an audit carried out by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) when it was identified the need to carry the Air Operator Certificate (AOC) in operations governed by RBAC #121 and #135. This requirement, once adopted, increases the harmonization of Brazilian regulations with international standards, without implying an excessive regulatory burden on Brazilian operators. During the review process, other opportunities for improvement were identified, in particular to provide greater clarity of requirements, reduce bureaucracy, and make operators’ actions more flexible. – https://aeroin.net/anac-faz-consulta-publica-para-alterar-normativos-sobre-posse-do-certificado-de-operador-aereo/
