Delta plans to fly to Rio de Janeiro year-round starting in 2024
After a break of almost two years due to the pandemic, Delta Air Lines is ready to resume flights between Atlanta and Rio de Janeiro on a continuous basis. The company plans to operate the route from December this year. Over the past three years, Delta has faced significant challenges due to reduced demand caused by the global pandemic. The operation of the route between December 2022 and February 2023 was an important step for the company, which is now confident in the gradual recovery of the travel sector. Flights to Tom Jobim International Airport (Galeao) will depart from two important Delta operations hubs: Atlanta and New York, starting on December 16, and will be operated with Boeing 767-300ER for 216 seats. The frequency of flights between Atlanta and Rio de Janeiro will be increased from April 2024, with three weekly flights to meet growing demand. – https://aeroin.net/delta-planeja-voar-para-o-rio-de-janeiro-o-ano-todo-a-partir-de-2024/
