In a panel at ALTA’s big event, SITA will present its proposals for reducing carbon emissions in aviation

SITA, a company specializing in air transport technology, informs that it will participate in the Airlines Leaders Forum event of the Latin American Aviation Association (ALTA), which will take place until Wednesday, October 30, in the Bahamas. Shawn Gregor, president of SITA for the Americas, will be part of the panel “Runway for a Sustainable yet Possible Aviation”, highlighting the company’s perspectives and proposals for reducing of carbon emissions in the short and medium term. In 2023, the company announced the implementation of new sustainable measures, with the purpose of limiting the increase in global temperature to 1.5ºC per year – currently close to 2ºC.
