Brazilian aviation breaks passenger record in June and grows more than 10% for the third month in a row
For the third consecutive month, the civil aviation sector in Brazil showed a significant increase in total movement, surpassing the 10% mark. In June 2025, 10.4 million passengers were transported, which represents a growth of 11.5% compared to the same month in 2024. When analyzed separately, the domestic and international markets showed similar results. On domestic flights, 8.2 million travelers were recorded, an increase of 11.2% compared to June 2024. In the international sector, the number of passengers reached 2.2 million, reflecting a growth of 12.8%. These numbers represent the best results for the month of June since the beginning of the historical series, in January 2000. Another important point is the accumulated movement throughout the first half of 2025, which totaled 61.8 million passengers at Brazilian airports. This represents an increase of around 10% compared to the same period in 2024. Of the passengers transported this year, 48 million flew on domestic routes, while 13.8 million took international flights.
