Travelers aim for family vacations to resume, says survey

Travel Ace Assistance conducted a survey with its customers in six countries: Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, and Peru. They aimed at learning more about the travelers and understand what the future perspectives are in the face of the new scenario. From May 27 to June 8, 2,147 clients aged 18 and over were interviewed. The survey revealed a positive outlook on the resumption of tourism. Among respondents, 50% believe they will make the next trip in the next four to eight months; 85% intend to travel abroad; 74% want their vacation and family trips; 43% will travel for a minimum period of 15 days; 84% intend to travel to their chosen destination by plane; and 88% consider travel insurance essential when planning the next trip –
