Airline companies closed higher in the US with advances in vaccine

Airline stocks closed the day on a high on 24/08 due to the hope of approval for a vaccine against Covid-19 and data that showed a reduction in the number of cases of the disease in the United States, which also means the hope for a  resumption of travel. American Airlines shares closed up 10.53% to USD 13.44. Delta Air Lines rose 9.28% to USD 29.80, and United Airlines advanced 9.93% to USD 36.32. The Nyse Arca Airline Index benchmark ended with a 7.32% appreciation. The rise was also seen in Europe.
