Emirates is elected in the Middle East Awards as the best airline in the world for the 8th consecutive time

Emirates was elected the best airline in the world for the 8th consecutive time at the Business Traveler Middle East Awards 2021. Along with the award, the Arab company also received recognition for “airline with the best first class” and “airline with the best economic class”. These results reflect the success of Emirates’ strategic approach to continually improving the experience on board and ashore, offering the customer’s safe journey at all points of contact, without leaving any details behind, in addition to ensuring that customer expectations are met during the most challenging period for the air travel industry. To maintain its leadership in the sector, the airline has also made improvements to its digital approach to modernize the air travel experience, launching and fully expanding its biometric path and touchless check-in, providing more security, and meeting customer expectations ensuring the contactless travel experience. Today, from check-in to the departure gate, customers have the option to experience the future of air travel at more than 33 Emirates biometric verification points and around 50 touchless kiosks at Dubai International Airport. Emirates continues to work to facilitate travel and minimize restrictions, collaborating directly with industry bodies and government officials to standardize medical documentation related to COVID-19, such as vaccine records and PCR test results. It also started testing the IATA Travel Pass in April, and is expected to implement this new tool on all flights by the end of May.
