Latam Brasil resumes flights to Paris after 15 months of suspension

The airline Latam decided to resume the Sao Paulo-Paris route with three weekly flights starting this month, taking off from Guarulhos airport. The company had not operated the route since April 2020 due to the impacts of the covid-19 pandemic. The announcement follows France’s decision to reopen tourism to travelers fully immunized against covid-19, a decision taken this weekend by the country’s authorities. “This month, on international flights from Brazil, Latam has already resumed 20% of its seat supply (measured in ASK) compared to July 2019 (pre-pandemic period)”, said the company. Currently, Latam is operating flights from Brazil to the following destinations abroad: Santiago, Madrid, Frankfurt, Lisbon, Asuncion, Montevideo, Mexico City, Miami, New York, Cancun, Paris, and Bogota. “All operations are subject to the evolution of the pandemic, as well as travel restrictions established by the countries”, informs the company. – https://valor.globo.com/empresas/noticia/2021/07/19/latam-brasil-retoma-voos-para-paris-aps-15-meses-de-suspenso.ghtml
