1st airport hub in the Midwest begins to be built

The first airport hub in the Midwest, Antares Polo Aeronautico, started being built on July 15, in Aparecida de Goiania, in the metropolitan region of the capital of Goias state. The construction of the project will be carried out in four phases. The project will occupy an area of 209 hectares, and should attract air taxi companies, aeromedical services, maintenance, hangars, schools for training pilots, and a support structure with shops, restaurants, and hotels. The expectation is to also attract industries, especially a factory for aeronautical parts, turbines and aviation engines, among others, in addition to companies focused on the logistics segment. The Midwest concentrates a large part of the movement of executive aviation in Brazil, and Antares wants to absorb part of the 63,000 take-offs and landings carried out in the region every year. – https://www.panrotas.com.br/aviacao/aeroportos/2021/08/1o-polo-aeroportuario-do-centro-oeste-comeca-a-ser-construido_183631.html
