Airbus opens selection process to hire around 6,000 new employees
Airbus announced the opening of a selection process to recruit about six thousand new employees in all divisions of the company around the world, already for the first months of 2022. The manufacturer justifies the decision by the strong signs of recovery of the post-covid aerospace industry and for the implementation of its roadmap for the decarbonization of the sector. Around 25% of recruits should focus on acquiring the new skills to support long-term projects and ambitions, notably in the fields of decarbonisation, digital transformation, and cyber technology. One third of the total vacancies will be allocated to young graduates. “After this initial wave of recruitment (…), the number of external hires will be re-evaluated before the end of the first semester, and we will make adjustments to our needs.
