ANAC extends Public Consultation on operational safety reporting program

The Collegiate Board of Directors of Brazil’s Civil Aviation Agency (ANAC in Portuguese) approved, during the collegiate meeting held on 03/22, the extension of Public Consultation #3. The regulatory process deals with the proposed resolution on the mandatory operational safety reporting program for Brazilian civil aviation, as far as the Agency’s attributions are concerned. With the decision, interested parties will be able to contribute to the draft standard until 04/11. The proposal is a part of the actions of the Brazilian Program for Civil Aviation Operational Safety (PSO-BR) and the Specific Operational Safety Program of Brazil’s Civil Aviation Agency (PSOE-ANAC). The objective is to make it clearer which aeronautical occurrences must be reported on a mandatory basis to ANAC, and the deadline for sending the report. The draft standard and project justification can be accessed on the Public Consultations page. Contributions must be sent to the Agency through an electronic form, available on the indicated website. – https://aeroin.net/anac-prorroga-consulta-publica-sobre-programa-de-reporte-de-seguranca-operacional/
