BESocial is a project created during the pandemic that seeks to engage the Bernardi & Schnapp team to support causes that are important to our community.
A campaign was carried out in June, and we collected 120 hygiene kits, distributed in Santos on June 19th. Hamburgada de Rua, responsible for the event, is a division of Hamburgada do Bem, an NGO founded in 2015 that has served more than 100,000 people in 4 countries.
The event surpassed the initial forecast, and after some adjustments to the location and publicity, ended up serving 520 people in situations of vulnerability. In addition to the hygiene kits collected at BESocial, around 650 hamburgers and 650 French fries were distributed, with 80 people being cared for with haircuts and the donation of more than 1,000 pieces of clothing. In partnership with the Faculdade de Santos (Santos’ College), there was also medical and nursing care.
