Brazilian Federal Government launches manual on environmental licensing for airport administrators

With the objective of guiding the administrators of Brazilian airports, the Federal Government, through the Ministry of Infrastructure, launched the Guidance Manual for the Environmental Licensing Process for Airports. The guide aligns procedures and increases transparency in the conduct of processes to obtain the necessary documentation for carrying out works and undertakings. In the guidance manual, companies can find information about the stages of the environmental licensing process, in addition to the types of license, specific documents, and competence of Organs intervening bodies, which may be involved by the licensing environmental body in the licensing process of the activity or enterprise. “The manual is one of the ways to provide greater transparency and agility in the conduct of environmental licensing processes”, highlighted the undersecretary of Sustainability at MINfra, Larissa Amorim. The document was prepared by the Undersecretariat for Sustainability of the Ministry of Infrastructure, together with the National Civil Aviation Secretariat (SAC, in Portuguese), Brazil’s Civil Aviation Agency (ANAC, also in Portuguese), and Infraero. – https://aeroin.net/governo-lanca-manual-sobre-licenciamento-ambiental-para-administradores-de-aeroportos/
