International flights in Brazil had the biggest recovery since Covid in April, indicated CGNA data
Data from the air traffic comparison report by the Air Navigation Management Center (CGNA in Portuguese), a unit subordinated to the Department of Air Space Control (DECEA, also in Portuguese), show that international commercial aviation in Brazil registered, in the last month of April, the highest of recovery since the beginning of the pandemic. The movement was 9,390 flights to or from Brazil, equivalent to 88.2% of the movement of 10,646 flights in the same period of 2019 and a relevant acceleration in relation to the previous three months, when the recovery was 78.8% in January, 76.9% in February, and 79.2% in March.
