Azul Linhas Aereas receives award from the Brazilian Council for Corporate Volunteering

Azul Linhas Aereas informs that it was the winner of the Applaude Award, in the “Outstanding Diversity” category, an award organized by the Brazilian Council for Corporate Volunteering (CBVE) that celebrates actions that have generated transformations with a high potential for replication and dissemination of knowledge. The initiative that stood out to the company was the Via Conecta Project, a mentoring program through which Azul’s volunteer employees have the opportunity to be mentors, helping in the process of personal and professional transformation of many young people and adults in socially vulnerable situations. For Camila Almeida, director of People, Health, and Wellbeing at Azul, the award is a recognition of the company’s mission to change people’s lives. “It is a source of great pride to have one of our initiatives recognized. This shows that, in addition to meeting our objectives, we are increasingly engaging our Crew Members in building a better world”, she celebrates. The Aplaude Award recognizes public and business organizations, community organizations, and committees responsible for voluntary activities that have shared, collaborated, and inspired actions that produce transforming impacts on society and are focused on achieving the Sustainable Development Goals – SDGs, of the United Nations, the assumptions of the ESG Agenda, and the UN Principles for Business and Human Rights (UNGP), at the national, regional, and local levels. – https://aeroin.net/por-projeto-social-azul-linhas-aereas-recebe-premio-do-conselho-brasileiro-de-voluntariado-empresarial/
