Confins Airport will have flights to all capitals in the Northeast
Confins international airport, in greater Belo Horizonte, will expand its connectivity with a new flight to Teresina, in Piaui state, offering regular services to all capitals in the Northeast region. The route’s debut is scheduled for October 30th, and will be served by Azul three times a week. The flights will be operated with the Embraer 195-E2 for 136 passengers. The capital of Piaui was the only one that did not have direct services from the terminal managed by BH Airport. In addition to the new connection, there will be increased services to Aracaju, Joao Pessoa, Maceio, and Natal, with new flights scheduled from October 29th. Azul has a hub at Confins airport, and currently offers access to more than 90 daily flights to around 50 destinations in Brazil and abroad. Between January and August this year, Confins airport handled 6,775,461 passengers, an increase of 11% compared to the same period last year. In the first eight months of the year, 65,297 landings and takeoffs were carried out, or a daily average of 270 flights. – https://aeromagazine.uol.com.br/artigo/aeroporto-de-confins-tera-voos-para-todas-capitais-do-nordeste.html
