Brazilian aeronautical maintenance workshops will be able to obtain FAA certification with assessment carried out by ANAC

Brazil’s Civil Aviation Agency (ANAC) informs that the country has signed a bilateral agreement with the United States that will enable the Agency to carry out the necessary assessments in Brazilian maintenance organizations to obtain certifications from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). The FAA is the primary civil aviation authority in the United States. For the agreement to enter into force, countries need to complete all necessary preparatory actions, which includes training and development of internal procedures and forms. To clarify the process, ANAC published documents so that interested parties are aware of the bilateral aeronautical maintenance agreement: MIP (Maintenance Implementation Procedures), signed in November 2018; MAG (Maintenance Agreement Guidance), signed in June 2023. The two civil aviation authorities are also developing training and workshops to be given to inspectors and the aeronautical industry. – https://aeroin.net/oficinas-brasileiras-de-manutencao-aeronautica-poderao-obter-certificacao-da-faa-com-avaliacao-feita-pela-anac/
