Companies from Brazil and Switzerland will partner for meteorological drones

During Droneshow Robotics 2024, an event that began on May 21 in Sao Paulo, a strategic partnership will be formalized between the Brazilian companies Omnisys and Iacit and the Swiss company Meteomatics to collaborate in exploring the meteorological drone market in Brazil. Meteomatics develops and produces meteorological drones, called Meteodrones, that soar to high altitudes collecting vertical profiles of crucial atmospheric data from the troposphere. Omnisys, a defense company, and Iacit, a strategic defense company, will be responsible for promotion, commercialization, integration, operation, and support in the country. “The partnerships we will establish during the fair with renowned companies are examples of the strength we want to bring to this market. I am sure that these alliances will boost innovation and help advance the drone market in Brazil”, said Luciano Rodrigues Macaferri, General Director of Thales, parent company of Omnisys, in Brazil.
