Bombardier installed 3,000 solar panels at its service center

Bombardier announced the installation of more than 3,000 solar panels on the roof of its service center located at London’s Biggin Hill Airport. The project was developed in collaboration with Zestec Renewable Energy. The new photovoltaic solar panels will generate more than 1,133 million kWh. With this initiative, the manufacturer expects to reduce annual carbon emissions by up to 252 tons and meet up to 32% of the facility’s total energy demand from a local renewable source. With approximately 23,000 m², the service center in the British capital offers complete heavy maintenance, including scheduled and unscheduled interventions, modifications and avionics installations for Learjet, Challenger, and Global aircraft lines. – https://aeromagazine.uol.com.br/artigo/bombardier-instalou-3000-paineis-solares-em-seu-centro-de-servicos.html
