After 4 years, Aerolineas Argentinas will resume two flights to Brazil
The high summer season will also be marked by the return of flights from Rosario and Cordoba to two destinations in Brazil by Aerolineas Argentinas, after more than four years. Starting on the first day of 2025, the airline will operate four weekly flights from Rosario (ROS) to Rio de Janeiro (GIG). On January 4, it will be the turn of the route connecting Cordoba (COR) and Salvador (SSA), which will be operated on a weekly frequency, using Boeing 737 MAX 8 and 737 800, respectively. In addition, on January 2, the connection between ROS and Florianopolis (FLN) will be resumed, with trips operated three times a week, using the 737-800. Other regularly operated routes will see an increase during the high season, such as those from Aeroparque (AEP) to Curitiba (CWB), Porto Alegre (POA), FLN, GIG, and SSA, in addition to the connection between COR and GIG. A decree published on August 21 by the government of Javier Milei ended the obligation of public agencies to contract Aerolineas Argentinas, as well as other state-owned airlines, for the purchase of air tickets, after twelve years. In addition, current contracts must be terminated, if there are undue advantages or preferences that contravene the new regulations, within a maximum of twelve months. The measure aims to foster competition and transparency in the Argentine public sector. – Depois de 4 anos, Aerolíneas Argentinas retomará dois voos para o Brasil (uol.com.br)
