First “Future of Aviation Week” will be promoted in October by Emirates and the Museum of the Future
Emirates informs that it and the Museum of the Future will host the first Aviation Future Week, which will take place from October 15th to 17th, 2024 in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. UAE ministers, senior government officials, leaders from the aviation and aerospace industry, air transport, Maintenance, Overhaul and Repair (MRO), and logistics ecosystem will gather in Dubai for the inaugural edition. According to Emirates, the event provides a platform for unparalleled insights and discussion opportunities on the passenger journey and future demand for traffic, air transport and logistics, as well as the latest developments in AI and XR. Note: Extended Reality (XR) is an umbrella term that encapsulates Augmented Reality (AR), Virtual Reality (VR), and Mixed Reality (MR). His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman and CEO of Emirates Airline and Emirates Group, said, “It is fitting that Dubai is setting the stage for visionary global leaders and decision-makers in aviation and aerospace to come together for key discussions and powerful collaborations to help redefine what the future could look like for the industry at Aviation Future Week. Dubai’s strategic commitment to leveraging technology and innovation and embracing the digital revolution is fertile ground to spearhead new approaches and push the boundaries of what is possible for more efficient and sustainable operations, and reshape the passenger journey and experience as the industry moves forward.” Aviation Future Week will include talks, panels, and workshops over three days. Sessions will also cover strategies needed to rethink existing processes through AI and the collaboration needed to empower today’s aviation workforce to embrace, adopt, and leverage these technologies. In addition to the main program track, Aviation Future Week will also feature a rich exhibition platform showcasing the latest in aviation technologies. Visitors will be able to learn about new products and concepts and connect with industry representatives.
