Airbus invests in the future with new pilot training campus that will be the largest in Europe
Airbus has announced an ambitious initiative that promises to transform the aviation training landscape in Europe. The aircraft manufacturer plans to build a new Training and Flight Operations Campus in Toulouse-Blagnac, aiming to meet the growing demand for qualified professionals in the airline sector. By 2043, more than 2.3 million additional air services workers will be needed around the world. Scheduled to open in 2026, the new campus will have state-of-the-art infrastructure designed to provide effective and comprehensive learning. The facilities will include space for up to 12 Full Flight Simulators (FFS), 12 Airbus Drill Instructors, as well as structural laboratories and areas dedicated to Virtual Reality (VR) and computer-based training. The center will serve around 10,000 apprentices annually, offering varied programs for pilots, mechanics and structural specialists. More than a simple expansion, this project represents a strategic step by Airbus to consolidate its operations in France, including the team at NAVBLUE, its subsidiary focused on flight operations. With this new facility, Toulouse will become the largest Airbus pilot training center in the world and the only one of its size in Europe. – https://aeroin.net/airbus-investe-no-futuro-com-novo-campus-de-treinamento-de-pilotos-que-sera-o-maior-da-europa/
