Airports managed by Socicam have relevant results with more than 6.5 million passengers in the semester
Socicam ended the first half of 2025 with impressive results at its airports, located in all regions of the country. Between January and June, the company registered the movement of 6,513,916 passengers, which represents a growth of 2.3% compared to the same period of the previous year, when 6,363,443 travelers were served. During these six months, 53,631 commercial air operations were carried out, including landings and takeoffs, affirming Socicam’s position as a key agent in promoting connectivity between strategic regions and promoting local economic development. In the Midwest, airports under the management of Centro-Oeste Airports (COA), a consortium formed by Socicam and Sinart, also showed growth. Cuiaba International Airport, together with the airports of Sinop, Rondonopolis and Alta Floresta, handled 1,548,667 passengers, an increase of 2.5% compared to the first half of 2024. Alta Floresta Airport stood out with an impressive 27.3% growth in passenger flow, while Rondonopolis saw a 25% increase in both customer movement and operations. In the North of Brazil, the Belem and Macapa International Airports, managed by Norte da Amazonia Airports (NOA), received 2,249,128 passengers and carried out more than 18 thousand landing and takeoff operations.
