Guarulhos Airport breaks all-time record with 4.4 million passengers in July

Sao Paulo International Airport (GRU), Brazil’s main airport hub, reached a milestone by handling more than 4.4 million passengers in July. The 17th was the busiest day in the history of the concessionaire that has managed the airport for 13 years, with more than 151,600 passengers in a single day. With this performance, July 2025 surpassed the figures for January 2020, when the airport handled 4.2 million people. GRU Airport, which manages the airport, has made significant investments to accommodate the increased passenger demand. One of the highlights was the modernization of the boarding pass reading systems, known as BCBPs, which provided greater operational agility and improved the user experience. – https://aeroin.net/aeroporto-de-guarulhos-bate-recorde-historico-com-44-milhoes-de-passageiros-em-julho/
