Air market indicators for October show progress in the sector

Air transport market indicators continue to show a gradual recovery in the sector. Demand and Supply data for October 2021, released on 11/22 by Brazil’s Civil Aviation Agency (ANAC, in Portuguese), point to a smaller retraction when compared to pre-pandemic rates. In October, the retraction of demand (in RPK) and supply (in ASK) in the domestic market was 16.4% and 16.7% respectively, when compared to the same month in 2019.
