Brazil hosts important International Civil Aviation Organization events next week

Next week, the Department of Airspace Control (DECEA, in Portuguese), through the Commission for Studies Relating to International Air Navigation (CERNAI, also in Portuguese), will host three important events of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO). The 20th Meeting of the Regional Planning and Implementation Group for the Caribbean and South America (GREPECAS, in Portuguese), the 12th Meeting of the Regional Aviation Safety Group – Pan American (RASG-PA) and the 2nd Joint Meeting GREPECAS–RASG- PA will be held from November 14th to 18th, at the Centro Militar de Convenções e Alojamentos da Aeronáutica (CEMCOHA, in Portuguese), in Salvador, Bahia. On the occasion, among authorities and experts from regulatory organizations, air navigation service providers and the aeronautical industry, around 150 participants from across the American continent will debate and share best practices and solutions for the continuous evolution of air navigation in the region. From November 14th and 15th, participants will meet to discuss issues related to Operational Safety. It will be the twelfth edition of the Regional Aviation Safety Group of the Americas Meeting. Created in 2008, the RASG-PA aims to integrate regional efforts and establish cooperative activities in order to reduce burdens and enable the delivery of measurable improvements in the region’s operational safety area. On the following days, from the 16th to the 18th, it will be the turn of the 20th Meeting of the Regional Planning and Implementation Group for the Caribbean and South America (GREPECAS, in Portuguese).
