Azul is the new full member of ALTA

The Latin American and Caribbean Air Transport Association (ALTA) welcomed Azul as its newest full member. Currently, the company operates more than 916 daily flights to 116 destinations in Brazil, South America, the United States, and Europe with an operational fleet of 140 aircraft, a network of 249 direct routes, and more than 13 thousand crew members. “We are delighted to welcome Azul to our extraordinary group of member airlines at this crucial time for the future of aviation. Azul’s arrival at ALTA will allow us to expand synergies and initiatives to help strengthen connectivity and competitiveness in the Brazilian and Latin American markets, contributing to boost the region’s economic and social recovery”, says José Ricardo Botelho, executive director and CEO of ALTA. “It is with great pleasure that we joined ALTA. We look forward to working with Executive Director Botelho and other airlines to help our industry move forward. In times like this, it is more important than ever that we come together as a sector and look for ways to be more efficient and to fly more every day. Azul flies to more than 120 destinations, and I know that, together with ALTA and the other airlines, we can make aviation more accessible to more people in Latin America”, said John Rodgerson, president of Azul. – https://www.mercadoeeventos.com.br/noticias/aviacao/azul-e-o-novo-membro-pleno-da-alta/
