New law allocates resources from the Civil Aviation Fund to strengthen Brazilian tourism

Brazilian tourism will have a new source of financing for its structuring actions, as established by Law #14,901, sanctioned by the president and published in the Official Gazette this Wednesday (06/26). The law directs 30% of resources from the National Civil Aviation Fund (FNAC) to the Ministry of Tourism, with the aim of promoting actions related to the air transport sector and encouraging national tourism. As explained by the Ministry of Tourism (Mtur), in practice, the 30% of the FNAC will be unlinked from the fund and allocated to the Ministry of Tourism, according to budgetary and financial availability, for use in actions that can help improve tourist infrastructure, mobility and destination connectivity, professional qualification, and the promotion and support for the marketing of tourist products and services. The Minister of Tourism, Celso Sabino, celebrated the news. “The National Congress, aware of the importance of Tourism in the country’s economic production chain, took this important step for the sector. And today, President Lula sanctions this law that will give us more resources to expand actions that directly impact the lives of thousands of people, from large businessmen to artisans who make a living from their art in tourist regions”, he highlighted. – https://aeroin.net/nova-lei-destina-recursos-do-fundo-de-aviacao-civil-para-fortalecimento-do-turismo-brasileiro/
