Congonhas Airport was the most punctual in the world in July
Aviation market consultancy Cirium once again placed Congonhas airport (CGH), in Sao Paulo, as the most punctual in the world in July, with 86.57% of takeoffs on time. According to the concessionaire Aena Brasil, which manages the terminal, one of the strategies used to reach this level was investment in reports and analysis of dashboards in real time. The results were constantly shared internally with airline managers and air traffic control bodies. “This result demonstrates consistency, efficiency, and management at work. We are committed to making Congonhas an airport of global reference”, said the airport’s executive director, Kleber Meira. Cirium classifies airports into four categories based on the number of seats offered on departing flights and the range of flights. Global, 25 to forty million seats, serving at least three regions of the world; large, 25 to forty million seats, but which do not serve at least three regions; medium, fifteen to 25 million seats; and small, five to fifteen million seats. – https://aeromagazine.uol.com.br/artigo/aeroporto-de-congonhas-foi-o-mais-pontual-do-mundo-em-julho.html
