The course on “Prevention of Human Trafficking and Slave Labor” is open to aviation sector personnel

Brazil’s Civil Aviation Agency (ANAC) informs that registrations are open for the course on Prevention of Human Trafficking and Slave Labor, which it conducts in partnership with the Labor Public Prosecutor’s Office (MPT) and the Brazilian Association for the Defense of Women, Children and Youth (ASBRAD). The course is aimed at professionals in the aviation sector and registrations can be made through the ANAC Training Portal until December 31, 2026. The training is free and self-instructional, has a workload of two hours, and was developed by ASBRAD. The objective is to share knowledge about human trafficking and slave labor among passengers and professionals in the aviation sector, whether they are direct or outsourced employees of airport concessionaires and airlines. The training is part of the Freedom in the Air project, which aims to prevent human trafficking and combat labor in conditions analogous to slavery. It is a joint initiative of the Brazilian Labor Prosecutor’s Office (MPT) with the Blue Heart Against Human Trafficking campaign, involving the participation of Infraero (Brazilian Airport Infrastructure Company), the United Nations Migration Agency (IOM), the International Labour Organization (ILO), the National Secretariat of Justice of the Ministry of Justice, the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), and ASBRAD. The project also has the support of ANAC and several airports and organizations, such as the Brazilian Association of Airline Companies (ABEAR), the Latin American and Caribbean Air Transport Association (ALTA), and the International Air Transport Association (IATA). – https://aeroin.net/esta-aberto-ao-pessoal-do-setor-aereo-o-curso-prevencao-ao-trafico-de-pessoas-e-trabalho-escravo/
